Man has always been concerned with the measurement of time which rules his life. Man has translated the elusive with paradoxically heavy and massive mechanisms. Conceived as a giant clockwork system whose gears are liberated of their terrestrial axes, the installation evokes the magic of passing time. It renders time intangible, reveals its’ infinite size, and restores its’ unreal power. The viewer experiences the dualities that bring them back to time: mechanical and imaginary, material and immaterial, rational and emotional, tangible and hypothetical.
